Artist Statement
| Adib was born in Tehran, in a summer evening of 1981, came to Canada in 1996 at a young age and graduated from high school in Toronto, as well as continuing his post secondary education there, with post secondary major in Mechanical Engineering. To him art speaks thousand words and bolts you with a thunder, that at times it leaves you speechless and senseless, art captures a state of the viewers mind and entertains and dazzle you. The artists brush, it tells a tale of pigment of a paint, stroke of a brush and time, time that brings it all together and elements behind that moment is what needs to be looked after in a paintings.
His work is a progress with
creative and investigation, his art is mainly done on canvas and weight paper, the works are mostly with
acrylic with mixed medians,
worked thick or thinned with water to create the illusion and
effects that is booth traceable and controlled with artist eye
and hands. |
